Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Morgonplex ("we", "us") handles information when you visit our website, start a trial, or use the Morgonplex service. It applies to visitors, trial users and customers.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, work email, company name, role and any details you include in forms.
  • Connected financial data: transactions, balances, ledger entries, invoices and payouts from sources you choose to connect.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.

We never receive or store your bank login credentials. Bank data arrives through consent-based aggregators or provider feeds.

3. How we use information

  • To provide forecasting, runway tracking, scenario modeling and reporting.
  • To respond to enquiries and set up trial workspaces.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse and diagnose problems.
  • To improve the product using aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.

We do not sell personal or financial data, and we do not use your connected financial data to advertise to you.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process data to perform our contract with you, with your consent where required (for example, when you connect a bank account), and for legitimate interests such as keeping the service secure. You can withdraw consent for a connection at any time by disconnecting it.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run Morgonplex, such as hosting, email delivery and data aggregation partners, under contracts that restrict their use of it. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Retention

Connected financial data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure. Encrypted backups rotate out within 35 days. Enquiry form submissions are kept for up to 24 months.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to authorised staff. Details are on our security page.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may nominate another person to exercise these rights. To make a request, use our contact page.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep forms and sessions working, for example the spam check on our forms. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes

We will post updates to this page and change the date above. Material changes will be notified to customers by email.
